Pe langa minunata sarbatoare artificiala pe numele de "Valentine's Day", anumite parti ale lumii au sarbatorit ieri un eveniment mult mai profund, ce-si are radacinile in credinte vechi de mii de ani - sacru, taditional, culural, spiritual. Este vorba de Anul Nou Chinezesc.

E a 3a oara cand sarbatoresc Anul Nou Chinezesc in Asia, al 3lea an cand sunt inca in Singapore. Cu siguranta acum 2 ani jumate nu as fi crezut ca voi mai fi inca aici... dar uite ca, de multe ori, lucrurile iau intorsatori pe care nici nu le putem visa.

Acum un an si doua luni, cand am aterizat pe insula asta minuscula si aparent aproape perfecta, credeam ca vin in Asia pentru experienta culturala - fiind atrasa de copil de culorile si farmecul Asiei, abia asteptam sa ajung aici dupa absolvire. Dupa 6 luni, cand am intalnit "intamplator" o persoana care mi-a spus cu ce se ocupa, am simtit ca abia atunci am aflat cu adevarat motivul pentru care am venit pana la capatul lumii: sa ma implic in training pentru copii si adolescenti. Si asta am si inceput sa fac la sfarsitul anului 2008. A fost o calatorie absolut spectaculoasa, cu urcusuri si coborasuri, cu o curba de invatare super accelerata, si cu multe descoperiri despre propria persoana si despre altii. Am adorat fiecare moment, pana si pe cele crunt de dureroase, pentru ca am fost mereu constienta ca invatamintele cele mai serioase vin din experientele care par sa iti produca cea mai multa durere.

Un an mai tarziu, am intalnit "intamplator" o alta persoana, si asa a inceput calatoria mea spirituala si de cunoastere si autocunoastere si mai profunda. Si asta a dat (din nou) o alta semnificatie venirii mele in Asia.

E intr-adevar fascinant sa descoperi incet incet care e totusi rolul tau pe lumea asta, si ce e atat de special legat de fiinta si viata ta. Si cum poti sa folosesti ce ti-a fost dat pentru a contribui la viata altora si la o lume mai buna.

Si tot ce trebuie sa facem e sa incepem sa recunoastem "coincidentele"...
